Technology Support Analyst – Kiribati

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Technology Support Analyst to join its team in Kiribati. The role provides hands‑on technical assistance to staff, maintains local IT infrastructure and collaborates with regional and global technology groups to keep services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day technical support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot local technology devices, servers and applications.
• Escalate complex incidents to regional or global teams as required.
• Monitor service availability and respond to incidents using established processes.
• Assist with technology projects, upgrades and business‑continuity activities.
• Record and manage incidents and service requests in the support ticketing system.
• Follow ANZ’s security, risk and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
• Understanding of servers and operating systems.
• Familiarity with computer networks.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
