Substitute Teacher – Moroni High School

About the role

This temporary position supports youth education at Moroni High School by delivering lessons on the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The substitute teacher works under the direction of a program administrator and may teach multiple classes as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present lesson plans that align with Church educational standards.
• Deliver instruction to youth and young adults, fostering spiritual growth and conversion.
• Maintain classroom order and create a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school administration to ensure continuity when a full‑time teacher is absent.

Required profile

• High school diploma; tertiary education preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively with youth and demonstrate integrity.
• Current police clearance and legal right to work in Kiribati.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
