Clerk 2 – School Administration

About the role

The Clerk 2 provides essential administrative support to Moroni High School, ensuring accurate student data management and delivering high‑quality customer service to staff, students, parents, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the local Ministry of Education annual student reports.
• Analyze teacher‑entered data in PowerSchool, flagging concerns for school administration.
• Track attendance, grades, and assess student progress using PowerSchool.
• Perform data entry, filing, and document processing while maintaining organized records.
• Answer phone calls and emails, offering courteous assistance to faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Provide constructive feedback and manage sensitive visitor interactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma with some college coursework.
• 2‑3 years of experience in school administration.
• Commitment to the mission of Moroni High School and the Church.
• Fluent communication in both English and Kiribati.
• Organized, hard‑working, and able to collaborate with administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
• Legal right to work in Kiribati and a valid police clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PowerSchool student management software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MOS certification preferred).
• Excellent customer‑service abilities.
